April Virtual Coffee Date

It has been awhile since we’ve had a typical virtual coffee date. As I mentioned in my March Blog Report one of my favorite parts of having a blog is that it is like having coffee with a friend. I miss the days of college where it was easy to grab a friend from down the hall for coffee. Would you like to join me for a virtual coffee date?

So, how are you doing today?

Join me for a Virtual Coffee Date

If We Were Having a Virtual Coffee Date…

I would tell you that currently I am drinking a cup of coffee named “turtles in a cup”. It is a mix of chocolate, pecan and caramel coffee and it is as amazing as it sounds.

We would talk about the fact that these April showers better bring some pretty amazing May flowers. Is anyone else as tired of the rain as I am? We even had a threat of snow this week in Indiana. What is going on Mother Nature?

I would let you know that I discovered Boardbooster for Pinterest and it is a total game changer. Instead of dropping all of my pins I find at once at night Boardbooster figures out the ideal time to pin it. I’m loving it and I highly recommend it if you’re trying to up your Pinterest game.

Speaking of which, are we friends on Pinterest?

During our virtual coffee date I would tell you about the yoga class I joined with a few of my coworkers. It is a lunch time yoga class that we found on Groupon. I’ve tried many times in the past to do yoga at home and always failed. This class has been wonderful and there is a high possibly I’ll keep going after my class pass from Groupon ends.

Did you watch the National Championship game for men’s basketball on Monday night? I actually had time to watch the second half but fell asleep after the refs started calling too many fouls. Gonzaga was my hope for the title but they had an awesome run regardless. Next year maybe one of our teams will make a good run.

The last thing I would tell you about on our virtual coffee date is my FabFitFun box. I signed up out of jealously of the boxes other friends were getting and I wasn’t disappointed. The samples are far from samples and everything I got was the perfect color. Have you ever signed up for a box before?

If we were having coffee (in person) together what would you tell me about? What would you drink?

  1. I love coffee chats. They’re such a fun way to get to know each other. Turtles in a Cup sounds like a delicious coffee! I’d love some of that. I live in Georgia and the rain this week has been horrendous. We had awful storms Monday and Wednesday. Yay for sunshine today though! Thank you for sharing about Board Booster. I definitely want to check it out. And we are friends on Pinterest now (peachykeen31). I’d love to get the FitFabFun box. It looks like it’s full of amazing goodies.

    Have a wonderful day!

    1. Thank you for stopping by. I’m glad to hear that your rain is clearing up! It’s been on and off here. I’m ready for our May Flowers to come through!

  2. I’d tell you that I’m jealous of your yoga class because my teeny tiny town doesn’t offer yoga! Do you know of any yoga “classes” online?

    1. Oh no! My sister-in-law is a HUGE fan of Yoga by Adriene. It’s a youtube channel and I’ve enjoyed some of her classes. I would highly recommend checking her out!

  3. I really wish we COULD get coffee! I have been doing yoga at home which is now one of my favorite parts of my day!

  4. This is a fun idea! My coffee would be dark roast and black except for a little dash of stevia. I’d tell you about the book I’m working on (I’m a little stuck) and the study I’m working my way through. 🙂 And yes, we’re friends on Pinterest as of today. And I’m going to take a look at Board Booster for Pinterest. Thanks!
