Early December Friday Favorites

Thanksgiving is over, it’s early December and the Holidays are in full swing around here. The boys met Santa last week and Little Man is super excited about telling Santa he wants a Buzz Lightyear. Christmas shopping is (finally) underway and we are planning our favorite Holiday traditions. It may be early December but this month will fly by… I have a few new favorite things I’ve come across lately.

Friday Favorites

A Must Watch…

Here’s the thing, I post this video every year on Facebook yet it never gets old. If you have never watched Jimmy V’s speech from the 1993 Espy’s you are missing out. It plays in our house every year and ESPN reminded me of it this week. We are still fighting for a cure but his legacy lives on.

A Must Listen…

No doubt my favorite group to listen to is Straight No Chaser. Back in the end of October they released their new Christmas Album. Since it’s now early December I can officially force encourage you to listen to it all day long. You seriously won’t regret it.

Once you get past how amazing Straight No Chaser is, I highly recommend checking out the A Capella Christmas Music playlist on Spotify. You will have it on repeat…All. Day. Long.

Other Things I’m Absolutely Loving…

One of the joys of no longer being pregnant is the constant hair falling out. There are days where I wonder how I still have ANY hair left on my head. My hair is pretty crazy to begin with and after Baby B was born it’s gotten even more out of control. I reached out to my amazing co-workers who area much more into hair and beauty products than I am. They came up with two recommendations and they are AMAZING! Anyone looking to soften up your hair check out It’s a 10 Miracle Silk Express Leave In Conditioner. I also have been using (at their recommendation) Redken Diamond Oil Deep Facets Oil Enriched Intensive Treatment.

It’s no secret that Garvin and Co is one of my favorite blogs, but her post on Christmas traditions was incredibly sweet this week. We started a few last year with Little Man and I can’t wait to continue pushing forward with new ones. Our advent calendar is on the way!

With all of the Gilmore Girls hype I had to pick up the audio copy of Lauren Graham’s new book Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls with my audible credit this month. It won’t take me long to get through that one. I can’t wait to actually sit down and make it through the series, I can’t believe it’s already early December and I haven’t started it yet! I’m so behind.

What are your early December favorites?
What’s your favorite Christmas music?
Have you watched Gilmore Girls yet?
