I think it’s safe to say that it is finally spring! I spent a whole lot of time debating on my evening and finally decided on a walk and a run. As usual my plans didn’t last but I managed to pull of a 3 mile run!
I’m still not 100% sure how to work my watch (yes I used to work in tech support, scary huh?) or change up displays so for some reason my overall time is in the bottom corner and my last split is on top. Whatever!
I ran my 3.0 mile route tonight and finished it in 27:26. I saw my 1 mile split when I hit lap and it was 8:53, my 2 mile split was somewhere around 10 minutes. I really need to get better at pacing my first two miles. It seems to level out by the 3rd mile.
I’m also getting so close to finishing the abs 30 day challenge (3 days plus a rest day left) so last night I kicked off the little black dress challenge. In addition to tonight’s run I did:
– 119 sit-ups
– 170 crunches
– 60 bicycles (swapped out leg lifts)
– 100 second plank
– 20 jumping jacks
– 10 burpees
– 10 high knees
