Just like that another month of 2017 has come and gone. Today Baby B turns 8 months old. I can’t believe how incredibly fast these 8 months have gone. Time flies when you’re having fun for sure. I’ve got my coffee for the day (Blackberry Shortbread) so let’s dig into some Friday favorites to wrap up April.
A Few Of My Friday Favorites From April
I know I’ve thrown it out there many times now but I still cannot get over how much I loved finishing up Michelle’s course Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. If I could promise you I would stop talking about it, I would… but I can’t make a promise like that. I’ve really enjoyed being part of her Facebook group this month and seeing all of the wonderful content people have to share.
Speaking of Facebook groups…we got in a great discussion the other day in one of my favorite groups, Blogging with Heart. I have met some wonderful bloggers in this group and cannot thank Terryn enough for starting it. They are a wonderful resource and I truly have come to trust what they have to say. If you are a blogger and don’t have a community, I highly encourage you to find one.
I’m really terrible about taking the time to paint my nails. Typically when I do, I forget about them for a few weeks and they look awful by the time I take the nail polish off. In my Spring 2017 FabFitFun box I got the Deborah Lippmann – Blue Orchird color of nail polish. Last week I finally had a chance to sit down and I have been in love with how it looks.
Last weekend on a whim I picked up two squirt guns for $0.98 at Walmart. It is safe to say it was the best (less than) $2 I spent this week. Little Man broke one of them but that hasn’t stopped him from having a blast with the other. From squirting the chalk of the deck to drinking straight from them I think we found our favorite toy for the Spring.
Friday Favorites Looking Ahead May
Looking ahead to May I already have a few favorite things. Kind of crazy, huh? I am already excited about the warmer weather we’ve had the last few days. As I mentioned a few weeks ago the April showers better bring some pretty may flowers. So far they haven’t disappointed. I can’t wait to get outside with the boys more!
Next week is Ipsy week as I often call it. We get a look at the bag and a chance to see what is coming to spoil ourselves for the month. Yea, that might sound a little silly but I still get excited.
On the flip side, my not so favorite thing this month has to be allergies. Between itchy eyes and Baby B with a nose that won’t stop running they are definitely in full swing in our house.

My favorite things about this month is that there is warmer weather and it’s my birthday!

I LOVE Ipsy week. I’m so excited to get next months, this month was pretty awesome. And allergies are full swing here too…it’s the worst 🙁

I love Ipsy! My shipment is coming soon, too! Do you love the FabFitFun box? I am kind of addicted to subscription boxes right now and keep thinking about trying it out. I am totally hooked on Stitch Fix, too, but I can’t say I would not be open to trying something new!

Gahhh, I’m with you on the allergies. I’m dying over here. I have been traveling with my essential oil blend (lavender, lemon, peppermint) and thank GOODNESS because they hit me at the most random times!
