Instalately – November In an Instagram

While quickly scrolling through instagram yesterday I caught the quote “the last chapter of 2015, lets make it a good one!” with a picture of the word December from finallyaliveafter25. For some reason that stuck out in my mind. 2015 has been busy, there have been wonderful days there have been horrible days. I can’t believe that it is almost over. November flew by (as most months have) so in an attempt to remember what I did this past month I thought it was time for a little instalately.

To kick off November we had a fun day with friends at a local play center followed up by a trip to the movies. There was lots of coffee consumed over our mommy & little man weekend.

We hit a record number of waffles made in one month. We managed to make homemade waffles every single weekend (but Thanksgiving weekend) this month. When you love waffles this much, you have to get two versions up and running.

Seriously, there were a lot of waffles.

Husband and I got to celebrate our anniversary with Buddy Guy & 150 of his closest Northwest Indiana friends. He was hilarious, talented and much better than we expected when you factor in his age.

We had an unusually warm summer day in the middle of November. I had no complaints and Little Man and I loved the excuse to go to the playground. We topped off our summer weather with a 6 mile walk. I think it is safe to say we won’t see that again for awhile. It snowed close to 7 inches just 6 days later!

Then there was wine. Because it was Wednesday. Why else?

Looking back at my instalately I really didn’t post a lot on Instagram this month either. November was a little bit crazy and I know December is already gearing up to be another busy one. November was a fun month and I am excited to see what this holiday season has waiting for us.

What was your favorite part about November?
Are you as shocked as I am that we’re less than 30 days away from 2016?

    1. I absolutely love the Pioneer Women’s waffle recipe! Hands down the best one we’ve used!
