I mentioned briefly before New Years that there was some soft squishy blue yarn that was catching my eye. I cast on the Misti Chunky Ribs and Ruffles Scarf on December 29th, 2010. As soon as I started to go with it I knew it was going to be a quick knit.

I worked on it through the Notre Dame bowl game on New Years Eve, and started working my way through it as we waited for the ball to drop.

New Years Day I woke up feeling like I had been hit by a truck. Don’t worry it wasn’t the champagne, it was the makings of early strep throat. In between new years day naps I finished up the Ribs and Ruffles scarf.

Once the scarf was finished, something inside me decided to cast on the Devon socks from Sock Innovation. Needless to say, it wasn’t the best idea when you’re exhausted. More about that another day.

This scarf is so amazing. It’s soft and fluffy and warm. The pattern had two rows to memorize, and they were almost identical. It was a quick knit and I will definitely knit this pattern again.

While her daddy was working late tonight, Wrigley graciously offered to model my scarf so I could get some pictures taken of it. All she needed in exchange was a treat. In other words, I was looking for someone or something to model and Wrigley was sitting right by me hanging out and I decided she makes for a great scarf model. Shush don’t tell her dad ;).
