Top 5 Types of Easter Candy To Stock Up On Before Easter

March is here and Easter is only a few weeks away, which means Easter candy has hit stores and I am not buying it in bulk. For the most part I’ve been pretty good on holding back this year but I may have fallen down a little bit at Walgreens the other day when I discovered that there are multiple kinds of Starburst Jellybeans now that Easter candy is out. Oops.

Now that Easter candy is out in stores, I highly recommend stocking up on a few of my favorites.

Top 5 Types of Easter Candy To Stock Up On Before Easter

Cadbury Mini Eggs

Hands down one of my absolute favorite types of Easter candy is Cadbury Mini Eggs. They come in various sizes of bags and I often find myself stocking up on the largest and then eating the entire thing in a day or two. Last week I was pretty proud of myself to make one last the entire week. They are a very sweet type of candy so you have to be a chocolate lover to heavily indulge but you really can’t go wrong with anything Cadbury.

Cadbury Creme Eggs

Speaking of Cadbury, I think the number one type of Easter candy that disappears off shelves around this time of the year are the Cadbury Creme Eggs. Filled with a sweet white fondant and loaded up with the best Cadbury chocolate. According to Wikipedia they hit stores January 1st every year. I might need to make a note in my calendar next year. McDonald’s in Australia is even making a Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry. I wonder how cheap plane tickets to Australia are right now….

Starburst Jelly Beans

I discovered these a few years ago and unfortunately fortunately they are out all year long. Around Easter though things get a little bit different and there are at least four different types of Starburst Jellybeans in stores! They added tropical jellybeans, sour jellybeans and crazy jellybeans. I was pretty intrigued by the crazy jellybeans so I picked up a package, two jellybean flavors in one and I’m hooked!

REESE’S Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Egg

It is no secret that I’m a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup addict. I cannot have them in the house because they will not last more than 5 minutes. The Peanut Butter Cup Eggs do not take my list of all time FAVORITE Easter candy but they are dangerous to have in the house. You really can’t go wrong with anything made by Reese’s though.

Whoppers Robin Eggs Easter Candy

One type of Easter candy that I don’t think gets the credit it deserves are the Robin Eggs candy by Whoppers. Malted milk balls with fancy Easter pastel coating, they are not too sweet but have a good crunch to go with them. Plus they are the perfect size to load up Easter eggs for an Easter egg hunt.

What is your favorite type of Easter Candy?
Have you stocked up yet this year?
