Weekly WrapUp

Well, it is safe to say this week didn’t go QUITE as well as last week did when it came to eating. Workouts, on the other hand, I kept up with for the most part.

Weekly Goal:

Get four runs in this week & stick at 10,000 steps a day. I got close but I didn’t hit the 10,000 steps a day. I had a few off days. I did make up for it on the days that I ran though.

I pulled off getting four runs in this week and it felt great! This was the first time in awhile that I’ve had four good runs in a row. I felt my pace picking up as the week went on and my energy levels were picking up. My energy was the biggest surprise to me since I was not eating very well, I expected to struggle. Hopefully that is the kick in the butt I need to eat better next week!

Sunday:

My main goal this weekend was to get a run in OUTSIDE. It was beautiful weather on Sunday, I didn’t realize how much humidity was out though. It was a little bit warm but felt so great to run outside.

Outside Run!
Distance: 4.6 Miles
Time: 39:48 (8:38 Pace)

Steps: 14,522

Monday:

I decided to take it as a rest day instead of a run day. I was still feeling the hills from Sunday. We went for a quick 2.5 mile evening walk instead.

Steps: 8,121

Tuesday:

Back to the treadmill for a run. No evening walk.

Distance: 3.5 miles
Time: 32:04 (9:09 Pace)

Steps: 12,762

Wednesday:

Today was a complete fail all around. No walk, no run & a lot of good food.

Steps: 4,854

Thursday:

It was chili cookoff day at work so my food was completely shot BUT I did manage to sneak in a run in the morning before work. I felt a little slow, but in the end actually wound up with a pretty decent pace for treadmill.

Distance: 3.5 miles
Time: 31:50 (9:05 pace)

Steps: 12,630

Friday:

Hands down, Friday wound up being my best step day of the week. It also felt like it was my best run. I had the day off from work so I decided to get a little later start to my treadmill run. The later start gave me a good boost of energy and I wound up doing a sprint workout.

Distance: 3.8 miles
Time: 33:54 (8:55 pace)

I was also home with little man all day so that resulted in a whole lot of steps. We took a walk to the park to end our day.

Steps: 20,153

Saturday:

With a little bit of travel & a lot of birthday celebrating, I didn’t expect too much out of Saturday. I knew that going into it and I’m okay with it. I won’t lie, I’m pretty sure most of my steps are thanks to a comfy rocking chair!

Steps: 8,827

Next Week’s Goal: FOOD! I need to start eating better. I can feel it in the evenings. Starting Tuesday I need to cut the sweets! I also want to keep up with my 10k steps a day & 4 runs a week.

How was your week? Did you hit your goals?
