But don’t feel like loading in the pictures with my crappy internet tonight…
So we got slammed by the wonderful ice storm that hit the Midwest last week… it was BEAUTIFUL on the way to work on Friday… I walk everyday and while i had to literally skate there… it was so pretty to see the trees! This is a tree outside our apartment, taken with a cellphone camera cause that’s all I had at the time.
So my amazing client (I use that term on the good days) is spoiling me with Christmas presents… Last week we got a big gift box from them from Harry and David, then I got an email Friday night saying to expect something from Best Buy, and then today we each got a huge basket of chocolates… how crazy cool is that!?
So I’ve been talking with a co-worker a lot this week… and we have so many things in common it’s crazy. He wound up being my DD at the Christmas party, and we kinda started talking a lot after that… there are a few hitches but it’s been nice to get to know him in a new way… I’ve known him for a year and a half now… and suddenly I’m seeing this incredibly outgoing guy who is not at all that way at work…
This is a random early morning blog post to say that I have two separate knitting posts coming, whenever i finish writing them 🙂 Hopefully this weekend…
