The news this week seems to be filled with celebrity deaths and sad stories. The silver lining in the news this week seems to be the Friends reunion that is happening soon! In the meantime Winter hit full force this week here in the Midwest and we are all looking for Summer to make a comeback ASAP. Little Man was excited about the snow, but not when it was too cold to go out and play in it. Outside of the Friends reunion I have a few other Friday favorites!
I’ve been having fun over the last 2ish weeks with the BGB Instagram Challenge. It’s been fun to try new things and come up with answers to all of the prompts. A lot of them do involve food but my answer seems to always be smoothies. Breakfast anyone?
One downside to following a lot of food bloggers on Instagram is that there are so many delicious looking foods I want to make. I can’t stop thinking about this Almond Butter Super Food Yogurt Bowl that Georgie posted this week. All of the ingredients need to be in my fridge ASAP.
Speaking of food, did you know that you can mail a potato? Just add stamps! I don’t know why, but this completely boggles my mind. Who decides these things?
Dreams do come true, sort of. On an NBC episode of Saturday Night Live there will be a Friends reunion in honor of James Burrows! Other of his TV shows including Taxi, Cheers, Frasier and Will & Grace will have reunions as well! As sad as I am that Matthew Perry won’t be there, I’m excited for the almost full Friends reunion!
On an incredibly sad note Andrew Smith, a former Butler basketball player who has been in the spotlight with his battle with cancer lately passed away this week. He was only 25 years old. The college basketball fans had really rallied around him in prayer and support this year as his wife shared his story. He played on Butler’s final four team and clearly made an impact on a lot of people. My heart breaks for his family, friends and teammates.

You can actually mail a TON of random things. When i was little a friend went to Hawaii and she sent me a coconut! It was awesome. But I think as long as you can put a clear address and proper postage on it, you can mail it!
