It’s safe to say I’m always looking for simple. In this instance it was REALLY simple. We love Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce in our house. We almost always have a bottle.
When I came across Sweet Baby Ray’s Crock Pot BBQ Chicken I knew we had to try it!
I think I might’ve left this in the crock pot a little bit too long. It was very good but the chicken almost tasted a bit burned at times. I’m 90% sure that was my fault! It’s definitely not something that would stop me from trying it again.
This was a 4-6 hour recipe so I would lean more towards the 4 hours instead of the 6. We did not add in the optional peach preserves.
I choose to eat mine mainly on buns. We did also try it over rice and with bread. My favorite way was with the bun!

Would I Make it Again: Yes
Kid Friendly: If your kid likes BBQ. We haven’t really introduced it too much but I’m pretty sure he’d eat it if we did!
Things I Would Change Next Time: Not leave it in quite as long!
