Christmas cookies, holiday parties, holiday decorations, snowmen, sledding, Christmas lights, ugly Christmas sweaters, Santa and more! December has been a crazy month and it is only the beginning. We have a lot more planned but right now we are taking it one day at a time.
Reading: I’ve been chugging away through In The Unlikely Event but I have the Maze Runner series next in line. While I’m loving In The Unlikely Event I feel like it is taking me forever to get through. There are so many details!
Shamelessly Addicted To Watching: College Basketball Season is back and in full swing! It isn’t a normal night in our house without some games on.
Rocking Out To: Christmas music… All day everyday!
Drinking: Hot chocolate, peppermint hot chocolate and lots of coffee. Although I think I’m due for my Peppermint Mocha soon!
Obsessively Eating: Cookies. Whoops! The whole eating decent has gone straight out the window lately. The holiday treats are flowing and I’m loving it. Although, I have regretted it a few times.
Loving The Fact That: I’m absolutely loving watching the holiday season through the eyes of a toddler. I cannot begin to tell you how much fun it has been. We talk about so many exciting things every night, January is going to be such a disappointment for him.
Laughing At: Little man’s day in the snow he had a few weeks ago. He absolutely loved it!
Wearing: Sweaters, hoodies & lots of warm clothes. The warm weather is pretty much gone.
Knitting: I’m knitting along with my mom on an Advent Scarf knit along. I may or may not be about 5 days behind but I’m getting there!
Planning For: Christmas!
Enjoying: All of the holiday events that are taking place this month. As completely exhausting as the holiday season can be, I’m living it up while I can. When the cold and snow hits in January it will not be nearly as fun as these next few weeks will be.
Not Enjoying: The cold weather that finally came. I’m hearing rumors that we will get some warmer weather again this weekend but it is safe to say that the December weather has set in for the most part. The long walks to the park & days of playing outside are done for awhile.
What are you currently up to?
I love this! I have been listening to Christmas music since November though! LOL

Christmas has been amazing to watch through little man’s eyes! I’m glad to find another peppermint hot chocolate lover!
So cool that you’re doing an Advent knit along. I’ve been wanting to learn to knit. It’s cold here too, so I’ve been drinking lots of Chai tea.
I absolutely love knitting! It has taken a backseat lately but I always try and pick it up where I can!
I’m looking at the sunshine outside the window at work. I’m in San Antonio, TX so I’m waiting for winter weather. Tomorrow I was told is going to be in the low 80s. I can’t too much complain because I had a car accident a few years back so the super cold air leaves me in pain. I am planning for my Christmas party/ housewarming this weekend. Thinking I’ll make mojitos since it’s warm lol
I am STILL reading Sounds Like Me by Sara Bareilles.

I’m knitting too! I’m doing another blanket. My hope was to make a blanket for my co-workers, but I’ve barely even started one blanket…things have been a bit hectic. Maybe I’ll have them done for next tear.
Currently posts are so fun. Happy December!
