To kick off 2014 I thought I would hop on the linkup with prompts from some fabulous bloggers! With 2013 literally flying by I decided to answer prompt number one.
The prompt: What is something you want to change, or a goal you want to set for the New Year & what is your plan for making it happen?
Looking back on 2013, one area that I feel like I let get to me was stress. Despite the lack of sleep, there were a number of times where I let myself get more stressed out than I needed to about various situations. I had such a fun holiday this year by stepping back, trying not to stress about how much we spent on gifts, where we needed to be when and how many calories I really was eating. I enjoyed watching little man play with his new toys, toddle around and even as he broke through a few new teeth.
Our life is changing in a huge way this year with my husbands job. While it is changing in a good way, there are a lot of hoops we need to jump through before the final job switch takes place. It’s going to take a lot of patience from all of us, but it will be worth it in the long run.
My goal this year is not to stress about the little things. So the dishes aren’t done one night, the laundry is a few days behind… If it means an extra 20 minutes playing with little man, talking about life with my husband…. That’s okay! 2013 was a fantastic year, but I can’t wait to see what 2014 brings!
